OUR SUMMER ACTIVITIES

WIND FORECAST

The kites we use fly best in winds from 5-15 meters per second (m/s). We use the windforecast from Windguru. You can use the wind forecast here to see which days more than 5 m/s have been forecasted, those will be marked with stars in the table. Should it turn out to be no wind on the day you have chosen, we can move your activity to a later date.

Click the triangle to see legend.
Turn your phone to landscape format and update the page to see the wind forecast side by side with the calendar.

WELCOME TO JÆREN

Come and experience the best beaches in Norway with us!

From Skeiestranden in the north, to Brusand in the south, we have 70km of sandy beaches to play on.

Team Kitesurfing.no is bred on salt water and kelp, and we know these beaches better than most. This means that we know where to go to give you the best experience, whether you are a beginner and want shallow water and small waves, or if you are an experienced kiter and want to explore some of the perfect flatwater or wave spots in the area. We have kited up and down the coast, and we know what works and when.

If you want to experience some of the best Norway has to offer in terms of water sports, come and visit us at Jæren this summer season!

WELCOME TO BORE BEACH

Borestranda is probably Norway’s best beach for nature sports. Here; kiters, surfers, windsurfers, bodyboarders, SUPers and paragliders play in beautiful unison.

Just before you get to the parking lot on Borestranda is Bore Surf Senter, here we pick up wetsuits and kite gear, and this is the meeting place for most of our activities.
Here you can change in separate changing rooms, and shower in a hot shower after a long day at the beach.

There is also a skate ramp and trampoline, and you can skate on the large terrace. There is a café with some simple food and seating, and an indoor lavvo with a fireplace.
The place serves as a natural gathering place for all water sports enthusiasts on Jæren, everyone is welcome to hang out and take a break from the activities on the beach.

If you need accommodation; check out Bore Beach Camping or Boretunet Hostel & Tiny Houses, both within walking distance of the beach.
