TOW-SURFING

TRY SOMETHING UNIQUE

Tow-Surfing with jet skis opens up opportunities for focused training sessions on waterstarts as well as other watersport skills, whether it’s a Twintip, Tow-In Surfboard or Hydrofoil board, with and without waves.

We have equipped our supercharged Yamaha jetski with a Rescue Sled, various specialized Tow-Ropes, and Safety Gear so that we can offer a safe and unique experience.

2-4hr SESSION

FOIL: We have pioneered several foil spots on Jæren. Current record 512 meters in one wave. We find a suitable spot free of other surfers and give you a session you won’t forget.

SURF: Are you a skilled surfer who wants a challenge? Book us for a real winter swell and experience the fiercest waves the North Sea has to offer. We take you to fabled waves that are impossible to reach without a boat.

Meeting at Bore Surf Center where we get ready with all the necessary equipment: You put on a vest and helmet, and we choose a board for the day. We have a variety of performance boards to choose from: Tow-in Surfboard, Hydrofoil board or Wakeboard.
We drive to the boat slip, launch the jetski and start your session in the water.
We hunt for the best conditions for your level and discipline, and can ride to other spots if the conditions warrant it.

If you are 2 or more, we take turns on riding;

2 participants: 1 sits on the back of the watercraft while the other surfs.

3 participants or more: We ride to a spot and tow 1 and 1 into the waves while the others swim out again.
Recommended time: Minimum 1 hour per participant.

Some of our spots are impossible to surf without a jetski, but extremely satisfying to master when you have the safety of a buddy on a jet engine who can pick you up and put you on the peak in no time. We are trained in Water Safety and Rescue in the Surf Zone.

FULL DAY EXCURSION
Depending on where we are going, we arrange Meeting Spot and time no later than the day before.
(If we are going to Lysefjorden, we will meet in Svankevigå in Stavanger City Centre.)

If we are going to surf breaks other than Borestranda, we can meet at harbors with boat ramps along the Jærkysten.

There are also good opportunities for wakeboarding with nice swimming spots in the Gandsfjorden. Easy to get to and from if you are a group that wants a water sports day.
